KIDS' STUFF TAG SALE

On Saturday, September 11, 2010, 8am-noon, AFN will hold its Fall Kids' Stuff Tag Sale at the upper Parker Damon Bldg parking lot, 11 Charter Road, Acton.

Let this be your motivation to clean out your kid's room, attic, or basement and turn those gently used baby/children's clothes (age birth-12 years), toys, baby equipment, books, sporting goods, and maternity items into cash!

Interested in reserving a space? AFN will do all of the advertising. You just need to bring your items, and a table or blanket/sheet to display them on. The items must be kid-related. No household, artisan, or baked items, please. All proceeds from individual spaces are kept by the seller, and each seller is responsible for marking their own items with pricing that they feel comfortable with. AFN members may purchase a space for $25; non-members $35. The space is approximately 8 feet across and a parking spot deep.

DIRECTIONS TO THE PARKER DAMON PARKING LOT:

From the East: Route 2 west; Route 111 south (exit goes left off of Route 2); straight at traffic lights (intersection of Routes 27 and 111); 1st right after the lights. Enter the large parking lot on the right side of the road. The Parker Damon Building is at the far end of the parking lot.

From the West: Route 2 east; Route 27 south; right at traffic lights (intersection of Routes 27 and 111); 1st right after the lights. Enter the large parking lot on the right side of the road. The Parker Damon Building is at the far end of the parking lot.

From the South: Route 495 north; Route 2 east; Route 27 south; right at traffic lights; 1st right after the lights. Enter the large parking lot on the right side of the road. The Parker Damon Building is at the far end of the parking lot.

From the North: Route 495 south; Route 2 east; Route 27 south; right at traffic lights; 1st right after the lights. Enter the large parking lot on the right side of the road. The Parker Damon Building is at the far end of the parking lot.

It was extremely well advertised, very organized, and I am pleased to say that the sales at my table were better than I had anticipated. I have to admit, I was a bit choked up as I watched my daughter's stroller roll away across the parking lot... but also thrilled to have unloaded a heap of kid's stuff from my home."
